My name is Telya Ashley. This is my tenth year of teaching. I earned my bachelors of Early Childhood Education degree from Alabama State University. I taught Pre-Kinders for seven years and this will make my third year in teaching Kindergarten. I am a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband, Stephen Ashley. I am a mother of five children. And a proud grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. I love teaching and I truly believe that I would not do anything else than to teach. I consider myself a very spiritual person and believe in giving back to my community. To ensure my students learn and develop into productive citizens, I make sure I provide a nurturing and positive learning environment.
